Why Was the Detective Lady So Biased?
Wouldn't she get in trouble for being that way? She arrested her over nothing at all.

Both the detective and the TV reporter were allowed to get away with so much bias in the movie. The TV reporter was worse than the detective in that respect. I can't really see them getting away with it in real life. At least I hope they wouldn't.
shareTheir characters were just so unbelievable. As the OP points out, the defendant is harassed in the carpark by the other woman, pushes her away and is then promptly arrested! Regarding the "reporter " (and she does everything other than actually report the facts), surely, even in America characters such as this don't exist on local TV ... do they? There'd be too many lawsuits flying around.🐭
