Enough with the kid episodes!!

All of these cooking competitions are doing kid episodes or complete seasons and I just don't enjoy them. I watch to learn as well as be entertained and, while I occasionally am impressed with some of the things kids come up with, most of the time they are basic meals, as you would expect from a young person. I always skip the season of Master Chef, Jr. and the chopped episodes with kids, and now Bobby is doing it. I hope they get back to regular episodes soon.

Don't forget Project Runway Junior and Man vs. Child: Chef Showdown. There will soon be more kiddie than adult versions of reality shows in the same way there are now more reality shows than scripted comedies and dramas.

I am just waiting for Bravo to launch a Real Kids of … each city in which there is currently a Real Housewives.

I don't watch Project Runway, but a junior sounds ridiculous. And I seriously wouldn't doubt someone trying a Real Kids of... That sounds so crazy that someone would try it! The other one I refuse to watch is Masterchef Jr. because I don't really want to see a nice and sweet Gordon Ramsay. That would creep me out!

Actually the "nice" Gordon Ramsay is closer to the real thing. He pumped up the nasty to appeal to what is believed to be Fox's core American audience. If you look at his UK shows you'll see an entirely different person.

Probably wouldn't like him, then. How sad is it that someone felt he had to have that persona to appeal to Americans??
