I have had the show on my dvr since it originally aired and finally got to binge watch it this past weekend. It started off great, but fizzled halfway in for sure. I kept waiting for it to be about Neil being an escort, but he never really embraced it. It became a show about "let's feel sorry for Grace." One of the worst characters ever, btw, is Grace.

I absolutely do not understand the allure of Grace. She says idiotic, dated things; is trying to live through her college years again; is angry with Neil when she is the one doing all of these things. She is not worth the time. Not to mention, she is extremely mousy looking and has a very rectangular, straight body. I don't get why everyone remarks on how awesome her physique is. I am not trying to say that Neil shouldn't have been more supportive or more present, but he didn't FORCE her to get pregnant right away or to not work or "follow her dreams." She clearly liked being financially supported. Yet another person who decided to have a kid and then complain that she had a kid. There is a little thing called birth control (for him, a condom). She just smacks of someone who suddenly read 50 Shades of Grey and decided that she should have an affair. On top of that, she is actively trying to flirt with Dylan, whom her sister clearly has designs on (Michael Vartan is really slimy in this show - he decides to be exclusive with Grace's sister when he really wants Grace - why would he do this? What a douche).

Btw, why do we have to suffer through yet ANOTHER insufferable teen daughter who rails against her parents??????? WTH Homeland, Necessary Roughness, Ray Donovan, The Americans, just to name a few and now Satisfaction. Anika makes me want to just send her to boarding school.

I know I am sounding whiny, but I do not think I will follow this in second season. Other than Neil, who has his faults, no one is even remotely likable in this show. I like Grace's sister, but that is just because I liked the actress as Kat on Being Human. They are making Adriana a one-note villain; Simon acts like a child; the neighbor is so cliche, as is Neil's boss. Plus the whole subplot about the angry husband. Ugh.

I thought that too, it would be about him finding out his wife is having an affair. He becomes an escort himself and learns through his adventure what women like his wife are missing and use what he learned to make her want him.

I think in the pilot episode, neil tries to cozy up with grace for sex but she shoots him down but has sex with simon at the staging house the next day. What I never get in some of the stories where the husband or wife cheats is why dont they try to have sex with their spouse? Its not like theyre 70 years old and cant anymore, both are in good shape.

The daughters story was god awful, she was dana brody 2.0, I havent seen the other 2 shows but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the americans(this was a show that did marriage drama well!!) but i dont think paige was annoying in it. The show has something going on all the time so her trying to find out more or protesting wasnt boring because we got to see a very angry side of philip due to it which was very interesting because they showed him being the parent the kids liked the best as he "fit in" and enjoyed the american life.

Yea,every guy seems to fall for her that pops up on the screen. Does her tits squirt out vodka? She really doesn't look that good and her art is laughable. I don't get it. Almost all the women Neil slept with are superior to her. And then she gets a manwhore to break out of her boring upper-class existence. She needs to go work for a charity and show some interest in her daughters life. And that ridiculous episode with her daughter and boyfriend trying to become singers.WTF?With all the technology, social media, etc available today that made people stars. This show is acting like its the early 90's and they have to find some big producer to put the music out there. Even douchebags like Bieber started on Youtube.
