Big Plot Flaw - spoiler

So, the lead character in the movie stupidly decides to cut off her whole hand when all she needed to do was cut off her fingers only. What an incredible waste! The writers of the script apparently forgot that the name of the movie is Knucklebones (emphasis on the word knuckle). Also, I seriously doubt that she would have been able to cauterize her severed arm without passing out into unconsciousness.

This movie has a demon running killing people that won't go away unless you roll knuckle bones a certain way.

I didn't even think of the hand deal. Watching it I was just wondering why the hell she was doing that until I figured out that she wanted to use her own bones to play the game.

A detail like that isn't going to make the film much better.
