The worst thing a director could do...
to a film that's already considered low-budget and somewhat amateurish is to give the demon a personality. For crying out loud, what was the point? When this demon started spouting off bad "that's what she said" jokes, the film was doomed from that point on. Smart-ass, joke-telling demons are LAUGHABLE, they aren't scary! This director obviously doesn't believe in Ridley Scott's "less is more" concept. Just imagine if the xenomorph in Alien (1979) started chuckling when he saw Capt. Dallas in the air vent and then said, "I'm gonna have loads of fun with you tonight... hee hee ha ha!"
