So it's not an Oscar contender! Who cares? It's sweet and enjoyable. Camil delivers like always. The little girl who plays Maria is charming. The reality of bilingualism shown is very accurate. Those of us who live between two languages will understand. And then, the friend who really tries but ends up saying things like "despabilation"...

It's okay, though the relationship never seemed real.

Stockard Channing's character was a little too much, especially the business with the furniture, and her abrupt turnaround.
