I can't believe someone really enjoyed watching this piece of *beep*

Really! This movie has the quality of a Latino sopa opera. It's awful! It deserved to have a -2 rating. I'm sure the crew of the film must have been voting and writing good things about this crap. Because it's impossible to really like it!

It's enjoyable enough once you get to the 2nd half. I originally thought it was a "Taken" ripoff, and after watching it I was glad to see it wasn't.

This movie was FRUSTRATING. Rachel Lefevre's character def wore the pants in that relationship. She & John Cusack showed their acting versatility and were the saving grace of the movie. Ryan Phillipe's character had MULTIPLE attempts to 'save the day', esp when he had a freakin' RIFLE in the front seat, but still put his family in mortal danger by allowing their jeep to get rammed, again and again. And their was no point to having Nina point the gun at her new 'parents' in the end... I'm sensing a liberal trying to make a point....

good story and suspense. Solid flick. You have poor taste.

I'm actually glad that the foolish imdb score of this movie never reflected the actual film because I thought it was a very, very, decent thriller. That's the benefit from going into a film with low expectations that turns out to be enjoyable.

I gave this movie a 4/10, everything that is happening in this movie is absolutely ridiculous, I can't believe John Cusack accepted this role.

imdb.com is not for fangirls and fanboys!

This movie was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The ONLY thing I didn't like about it was the part where they almost fall off the cliff. It wasn't really unnecessary. Entertaining, but a bit over the top. And if they were going to have that in there, they needed to decide between that being the big climax or Ben coming back being the big climax/twist. Both was a little much but it wasn't enough to keep me liking the movie. It was a solid film. I liked that for once I didn't have to keep saying "Omg youre a effing idiot" to the victims over and over. Yeah they made certain mistakes but mostly the bigger ones, other than that, both of them worked as a really good team to finallys show in a film that Bad guys aren't always genius masterminds that victims can't overcome. I guess I have been watching too many horror films where victims are always retarded, bad guys are always genius super humans and somehow ALWAYS win after the victims make 20 stupid mistakes in a row for 2 hours. But, this was seriously good. Fantastic acting on everyone's parts. The lady in the beginning did a great job of acting really "off" and "shady" I thought John Cusack (from the trailer) was going to be the only bad guy but from the second she was in the film I knew she would have something to do with it. Lots of god twists, I didn't see it being a huge scam, I thought it was just going to be a kidnapping for (whatever kidnappers motives were going to be etc etc) I really felt for the couple. I felt bad that Ryan Phillipe's character held so much guilt, and I liked that they both moved on from it as a couple and were just trying to keep going with their lives and she truly forgave him, and wasn't bitter, and she was pissed about him keeping that stuff from her, but even after that she worked as a team with him until the end to get their kid back. So because of the couple's strong unity, I kept rooting for them and liked both of them a lot. She was a really good mom, and person, and I didn't want her to die AT ALL. I didn't want him to lose his first child, second child AND his wife feeling guilty both times, and I didn't want Nina to lose either of them because they were going to take really good care of her. John Cusack kicked ass playing the bad guy. He showed a lot of different layers that kept you guessing just how bad he was going to be and by the end of the movie I really hated him after not knowing how I felt about him throughout because he kept you guessing if he was as bad as his sidekick or if he was maybe just in it for the money, not the killing/kidnapping and if he maybe had some good in him somewhere, but NOPE. And for once a movie in a long time where even through the struggle was crazy they took down the bad guys and took them down in a pretty realistic way. Every thing they did to get out of the situation honestly, in my opinion, is very doable. I mean, at the very end he did get there just in time (thats very hollywood Oh and escaping from the falling vehicle lol but i forgive, because thats the definition of "movie") but other than that, this movie was a pleasant surprise and im surprised it isnt getting better reviews and wasn't in more theaters. It's better than a lotof the crap I have seen in theaters in a very long time. I also haven't seen Ryan Phillipe in a movie in awhile, hes not one of my fav actors, im kinda "meh" about him but after this he really surprised me and I thought he did a great job. I'd give this a 7/10. Also, incredibly important message overall about child trafficking. I like films that have something to say.
