Who was the mother of Clarence?

I have watched the film twice and the family tree(s)are a bit confusing.We know Jacabo was Clarence's father,but is the mother Carmen...who is only mentioned in passing to Julia,and never appears in the film?

I thought I saw Carmen's name on the family tree.
