I honestly thought the title referred to a crazed homicidal lumberjack killer....not lumberjack pancakes! WTF?! I wasted a free redbox rental on this silly film.
It did have some fun kills and lots of bouncing boobies though.
But if you want a good horror/comedy, see The Final Girls instead. I thought that was leagues better than this.
It seems like this movie tried to be like Zombeavers, but failed.
This is supposed to be a christian camp but only one counselor acts Christian, the rest all act like they are being forced to be there as some sort of court ordered community service. There is more sex, drugs in this "christian" camp then there would be at a "hedonist camp".
Yeah, the whole thing w/ the pancakes was ridiculues. At one point a pancake is used to beat a girl to death, a pantsless girl btw, who during the chase, would pull her shirt down to cover herself from time-to-time like modesty would be on someones mind when being pursued by a killer.
There was also about 1.5 minute long food fight scene that was so completely out of place, that you can only assume the writer/director has some sort of food fetish.
The movie was past campy to the point of absudrity culminating in what would normally be a titular scene, a scantily clad final girl heroine, but covered in maple syrup? Not sexy, just gross.
