I know it's not exactly unknown but how many 18 year old kids would get married to a 28 year old woman? I don't know how old Tara is supposed to be but Ashley Leggat is 28, Matthew Knight is 18.

Aren't there any real 18 year old actresses who can play these parts? it seems like nearly every movie you see lately has actresses who are much older than the part they are playing, in many cases it's all too obvious, little girls change shape when they get older.

OMG! I was just turning this on and I thought that was a mother and a son. That boy looks like he is 16. And when he got on one knee and proposed it look like a school teacher who was dating her Junior High School student ala Mary Kay Letourneau. The daughter looks like she should be that guy's girlfriend and the other woman should be the mother that is absolutely ridiculous they could not find one actress that's even Twenty-One that girl looks like she's 35

I thought he looked like her little brother. That being said, I'd have married a twenty-eight-year-old woman in a second when I was eighteen. That would mean today, however, that I'd be married to a seventy-seven-year-old woman, which I'm not as enthusiastic about.

It's definitely my least favorite plot in the story. Brandon had so much potential but they tied him down way too early. I don't bother with real life ages as some people can look 16 and actually be 30 and some 16 year olds can look 30. stage ages. If she was right for the part, she was right for the part. I just didn't like that Brandon was so young and they threw him into this 'go nowhere' marriage plot all together.
