The character named Wade Earp, the writer says is a descendent of the cowboy legend Wyatt Earp is false as Wyatt Earp never fathered children.

Are you kidding me? You do know that great aunts and uncles are our ancestors as well and we are their descendants? Right? There are direct and collateral descendants.
