Dido

There is a point where we're shown Dido was Danny's toy.
Was Dido part of Danny's clinging to childhood memories of happier times when Dido perhaps first served as Danny's little pal?

Did Danny just run out of energy to play that game any longer? Letting go was clearly a huge, painful step.

"Was Dido part of Danny's clinging to childhood memories of happier times..." - yes, Dido was an 'imaginary friend' of which Dany couldn't let go. It was Ody who finally made him let go of the toy rabbit by ripping its head off.

Definitely think it was indicative of a more childlike interaction with the world.
