Had to quit watching

This show has gone down the drain. Too much underage drinking in public for it to be realistic.

I quit watching when they let Lori walk free from her trial. She kidnapped Carter for 13 years, Carter is found and returned to the Wilsons, then Lori stalks Carter, drugs her, kidnaps her again, forces her to setup her sister, holds a gun to Liz and the twins while trying to kidnap Taylor. Yeah sure we will let you out of jail and still have contact with your victims. Its so far fetched and unrealistic it ruined the entire show for me, its obvious they changed the shows entire story line entering season 2 and its been nothing but downhill from there.

The second thing for me is Carter is one of the most unlikable lead characters ever written.

AGREED. Also, Carter is a dumbass and a brat and always tries to find a way to play the victim! For example when she slept with Max, she tried to make herself the victim and justify it by what Lori said to her! ugh

I stopped watching because the kids are doing drugs, having parties and working in a bar

And the parents are aware of it and okay with it. Elizabeth is a cop. She wouldn't let that happen IRL.

No. Not realistic. BUT this is a teenager soap opera.

They're totally dropping the kidnapping story. There's so much more they can do.

Someone on fb said I'm probably too old to watch the show.

I started watching this show because of Alex Saxon as Max.
I watched him in The Fosters as Wyatt and was disappointed when he left.
I was glad to discover he was in Finding Carter and I could still see Alex Saxon and his beautiful hair.
Now I also really like Grant, but find all the other characters annoying.
If Max ever left the show I would probably stop watching.

Elizabeth has to pretend to be okay with it, because anytime she goes against what Princess Carter wants she has a fit and runs away.

I legit turned it off in the middle of the last episode when Lori called Carter "my daughter". What the??? Lori's a kidnapper with the ability to drug people and hold them at gunpoint. Wait, now she's crazy! Wait, now she's living with her son, trying to find a job, living the suburban life, co mingling with her kidnap victim and her family! It's too much.

This is exactly why I quit watching.

This season has been pretty crappy, but last night's epi was good. Mad Max scenes has been the best thing to happen to this season. I've enjoyed watching him this season, as opposed to last.
Or is this season just really that bad?

reply

I don't see how that's unrealistic, when I was underage I drank in public plenty of times, not America though
