I just heard about this and I agree with IMDb. Their message boards have always been a cesspool. I've peeked in every so often for movies I've watched and it's always been full of trolls.

I am honestly curious. If the message boards are such a cesspool, why did you join up and why do you keep coming back?

Morbid curiosity. My visits are always sporadic, so just like you can't take your eyes off a car wreck, I'll peak every so often to see how bad it still is.

I dont get why they are closing this? ALL message boards on the internet get trolls.. Big deal.. You ignore them and keep going! Why are they really closing down the message boards here?

And look at my join date: 2005. I'm not new and it's ALWAYS been that way.
