Lighthouse Keeper and The Terror

First off, I know this film isn't going to win any awards but I can appreciate the effort considering the director's budget. I've seen way worse but the location, atmosphere, and story held my interest.

It was the beach with it's unique rock formations and the strange, young woman that made me think about The Terror (1963) with Jack Nicholson. While the two shared some similarities they are still both unique, which makes sense since the Lighthouse Keeper is based on an Edgar Allan Poe story.

I think this film deserves its rating only because of the passion behind it which does come through if you're open. It's best to watch it late at night for the full effect.

Also, the zombie makeup look like those used during the 70s and 80s by the better known Italian directors.
