Yes, it totally gives a polygamist-vibe every time that happens. They are all supposedly competing for one guy, yet they celebrate when someone else gets the "prize"? When Karina was called to join him into his chambers, some of the girls looked way too happy! That's not right, not right at all.
When they were at the pool and in the jacuzzi I also felt that in any moment the party would turn into an orgy. These kind of scenarios are why I've never understood dating shows where one guy or gal is "courted" by too many at once. Besides, it's not likely that people will show their true colors since they are trying to appear to be "princess material" (ROFL if any of them actually believes they would become the love of a prince's life), for example Meghan, her body language and face changes soooooo much when she's with the girls and when "Harry" shows up, 2-faced doesn't begin to explain this phenomenon.
Unfortunately there are many men and women who would do anything (or rather I say, they would give everything) for their 15-minutes of fame.
I preferred a lot more the premise behind BBC's short-lived "Sexy Beast": A girl or a guy will go out on a first "blind date" with 3 different persons (that's a reasonable number, besides, they aren't living and/or fraternizing together); all of them will be wearing make-up and prosthetics to hide their looks, after the first speed date he/she eliminates one and goes on with the other two. Each of the remaining prospects will plan the second date, which will allow them to show their likes and interests. After that, one is eliminated and everyone's real looks are revealed. If they really clicked, there's a new date programmed for them to meet again, but they can choose not to go if they decided not to pursue a relationship with that person. That really felt more authentic (and with a funny twist) for the purpose of finding a suitable partner.
