I've been searching google and I can't find anything yet :(

I actually checked facebook and kimberly has one and said that she hasn't seen matt but talks to him. i asked if that was a "bachelor" type secret thing til finale or if that means they aren't pursuing a relationship. waiting to hear.

reply

I'm really surprised that there was no follow-up episode, but I guess they would have filmed that if the show had been able to run its course on TV.

reply

There is no follow up episode for it. The show was base on Joe Millionaire in 2003 or 04. I can't remember when it was air. Their were no follow up on that and it was really popular.

reply

Um, just how successful do you think this relationship can be since it was based on a lie?

Greatest manipulator in the world. How could you ever trust the guy?

reply

GingerSnap...I was thinking the same thing. All of this was based on a lie.
I think the finale was a lie as well! The final girl he "chose" saying, OK...I accept you even though it was all based on a lie! LOL! This whole show was too far-fetfetched. Probably scripted from the start.

reply

...and the whole show was about getting that "fairytale ending". Then you have the ending scene in the fake snow and it looks like it's off a crappy made-for-TV Christmas movie and everything looks beautiful, unlike all of the crap we saw in the rest of the series. She says yes, "loves" him for who he supposedly is, and they ride off happily ever after as the butler locks up the estate.

Good lord, it's either the most idiotic or most brilliant way to end a dating "reality" show like that. Suddenly I feel like we got played.

reply

speedracer, yeh, things got a little hoaky, and any reality show has stuff that is loosely staged and then they see how it plays out, or they stage some specific stuff that isn't super important (like the butler locking up)

but i still enjoyed the series a lot, and, he chose the right girl

at least we can enjoy it, if we believe what we saw was somewhat real, which i mostly do (and i'm usually a cynic)

reply

Plus very few people would actually be honest enough to say that learning the truth DOES change things.

reply

good point. we have no idea what she REALLY thought, or reflect on later.....

but it appeared she, of all of them, was, and would be, the most "ok" w/the hoax

reply

Probably took her $125,000 and hasn't looked back.

reply

I asked about this to Kimberly's FB Page and she replied saying that like the Bachelor they couldn't see each other after and Filming ended in Sept. The show sent them on a trip together and they talk regularly. Distance is an obstacle but they are planning another visit.

reply

Well they probably can't say much yet as the show is still airing in a few countries.

reply

He didn't pay attention to her until the end. She basically went under the radar after the first show. And her squeaky voice at the end was almost as bad as Meghan calling him babe.

reply

MissCherylA, Um...NOTHING was as bad as Meghan repeatedly calling him "Babe". LOL! That was the worst!

reply

I'm sure he spent more time with her than we get to see. You have to remember that it's 44 minutes of MULTIPLE women over multiple days and they can't show every conversation or even the full length of every conversation. And the editors will choose to feature some girls and situations more than others.
