...make more films like this? When he gets out of his comfort zone (which isn't all too often) he shows that he actually has some acting chops. His performance in Punch Drunk Love is still one of my all time favorites.
shareI agree. Even Ben Stiller does one good film every few and then, but Adam Sandler I think has so far done two. Adam Sandler's performance in Punch Drunk Love was one of the best in movies.

Punch drunk love is the only film I've found him to be tolerable in . PTA influence I think .

Can't blame him when nobody comes to see his dramatic work on the rare chance that he makes them.
And Sandler is primarily a comedic actor anyway and would have been whether they flopped or not.
