And Yet Again..........

another release date (January 5, 2018) and still no signs of the movie.
I am getting SICK of movie studios crying "WOLF". This movie may hold a record of false dates of release and still no movie. Its actually very sad. Jacob is a talented young actor. People WANT to see his work, at least I do. Fortunately this movie went "underground" for viewing long ago. I have a very nice copy. I would love to see it on a big screen. I would love to support it by having an OFFICIAL copy.
Studios are creating their own demise. THEY are driving things underground and making bootlegs profitable when they hold back these movies.
This was made in 2016, perhaps even earlier. According to IMDB it was the next major release after "Room"; yet we still havnt seen it come to theaters.
I dont live in a small town. Far from it. There are over 25 major theaters within easy access for me. Some are art and specialty movie houses. STILL, no signs of it here.
If anyone has actually seen it on a big screen at a regularly scheduled showing, I would like to know WHERE. Yes there may have been some "film festival" screenings somewhere. No here that I know of. But again, NO actual theatrical release.
WHY BOTHER putting up release dates only to let people down. ENOUGH ALREADY!

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE

I was just informed that the "release date" listed was for NETFLIX; NOT an actual theatrical release. So my hope of seeing it on the big screen is probably VERY UNLIKELY.
The problem with IMDB on this information is that IMDB is owned by AMAZON who is a competitor of Netflix, so any real promotion or info is rather unlikely.
I may HOPE for a DVD version with "special features". If such a thing doesnt exist, I will simply keep what I have and that is that.

Its kind of sad that this movie was "buried" for so long. I'm glad that at least some venue has picked it up so others can see it.
