Trssh trash trash - seriously flawed film
This is another one of those "one note" films where someone had a simple gimmicky idea and dragged it out into a feature length film. Back in the 60s Rod Serling was packing far more enriching story material into 22 efficient minutes (The Twilight Zone), but these days you have to sit through 90 minutes of slow-paced CGI pretentious and contrived drivel to get to "the idea".
How many films exist now where a good looking couple move into a big house, seemingly without jobs, friends, family or any other life responsibilities except the situation at hand? The whole thing exists in this weird unreal bubble with no external context. Just loads of distractingly naff CGI and forced scripted dialogue.
I have absolutely no clue how people rate this crap so highly. Its TRASH.
