Liam and Zoe have been recasted

It's an unfortunate situation that Joe and Dawn couldn't continue in the roles due to whatever financial mishaps the bbf production company is going through, but based on these new actors, on looks alone, I'm really going to miss the old ones.

The guy who's going to playing Liam, seems too "pretty" for the role. If Liam is supposed to be based on Tsukasa or Goo Jun Pyo, I have to be able to believe that he has some thuggish tendencies to turn the whole school against a student and stand by and watch as they get brutally tortured. Kevin Markovic doesn't seem like that guy.

As for the new Zoe, I don't know, I'm a little ambivalent. I know no one working on this project is all that seasoned, but the article makes it seem like this is her first acting gig, and lord knows we don't need another actor hanging around who can't act worth a darn. We'll see I guess.

It's hard to know who to believe, isn't it? I'm inclined to believe the production team though; Joe was being really vague about the reasons he was fired but the production team first said "[Joe and Dawn] were asked to do something that they refused to do that would've prohibited production" and it was later revealed that they wouldn't come to work on time.

I'm indifferent to the new Liam but I quite like the look of the new Zoe. I didn't like Dawn very much. Thought she looked generic and her acting was bland. Her dancing was the only thing I liked. Something about her was very unsympathetic too, or at least the way she played the character. Rose Guess is very pretty though. I already like her more than Dawn. Hope she's a good actress.

I'm not so inclined to take the production company at their word. Their professionalism even prior to Joe and Dawn leaving was questionable. From what I've read, Joe and Dawn both were tight lipped about the reasons why they weren't continuing on with the production when it was first caught wind there'd be recasts. From a professional stand point, if there were contractual issues or disagreements between their management and the production's management, it makes sense that they'd be less free to comment on it. It was only when the production company overtly said that that the two of them quit that they both spoke up to clarify the situation as much as they could. To me it's odd that Joe and Dawn chose not to comment or cast blame, but the BBF production right from the gate shifted the blame on the two them. Even if it were the case that the two were unprofessional with showing up on time, it hardly seems in anyone's best interest to actually say that (it actually makes both parties look bad that way). But you know what they say there's always three sides to every story.
