So Nobody In This Movie Has Heard A Thing About Siren Legends? (spoiler)

At least twice in this movie women stood around watching men wander trance-like towards the sound of a woman singing while right in the immediate vicinity of the ocean.

In one instance a guy was actively resisting calls to move on claiming the voice was only for him. Yet nobody recalled that this is how sirens operate?

You actually SEE a woman in the water, then right away experience a man in your group being drawn towards the woman and dots connected = false.


The woman in question is most assuredly a college graduate since she's a journalist. Never heard of the legends. At least one of the men is indigenous and knows the legends. All except this one?

Strains credibility big time.

Oh, and once Famous Amos lost his gun on the prison roof in the fight with Caribbean diver dood, why didn't everyone circle him and beat the crap out of him instead of running away and leaving him to fight one on one?

Meh.
