Other Movies on the Same Theme?

Does anyone know of other movies out there that show two different (disparate) groups coming together over a common issue? Doesn't have to include activism, but it can.

Thank you!

I'd argue "Brassed Off" fits your criteria.

Kinky Boots is the same ideal, fun movie.

Not what you are asking but Erin Brockovich is the only film that comes to mind.

And of course Sean Penn as Harvey Milk in Milk.

Billy elliot also sort of fits

I'm a little surprised that no one else has mentioned Made in Dagenham, which was the first film I thought of on seeing Pride. Both are period British movies about a minority group working together with a Trade Union over an industrial dispute, which resulted in significant social change...

I love that movie! And, being in the US, nobody I know has seen it. I mainly watched it because of Rupert Graves (one of my favorite actors), but I then read up on the story behind the movie, and it was fascinating. Plus, Sally Hawkins was amazing.

Not a movie, but the graphic novel Stuck Rubber Baby comes to mind.

I must be a sucker for these kinds of movies as I remember thinking it was the best British movie I had seen since Made in Dagenham.
