Lucy/Elena = Emily/Chloe from Make It or Break It

They're both a single mother/daughter duo who barely make enough to get by.
The mothers are both attractive, young-looking irresponsible women who love their daughters to death and do whatever they can to get by.

The daughters are both mature and are both the ones taking care of the bills (for the most part), lecturing their mothers, treating them like children, and taking them for granted.
