To bad they didn't kill [spoiler] off

The kid. The movie would have had much more of an impact had the kid died. They could've made the train scene at the beginning of the movie that which comes last in the chronological order, with Sherlock Holmes looking very sternly at the kid and the wasp, because it reminded him of how his young friend had succumbed to the wasps at his own home. These happy endings are not becoming of movies such as these. It drains their potential and leaves you wanting. It's the final piece of the puzzle missing to make this movie stand out and be memorable. As it is, it's average. A nice watch.
