The pipe

I enjoyed it. Slow but good. Why do they always have Holmes going on about how he doesn't wear a deerstalker or smoke a pipe. Yes he did smoke cigarettes in the stories but he did smoke the pipe a lot in them too. I know he wasn't in the deerstalker all the time but he did wear it at least once. It's like there is this kind of modern trend to see him smoking cigarettes/cigars and wearing different clothes. They've tried to turn Sherlock Holmes into some kind of modern superman and the pipe doesn't fit in.
