disappoints me how most can't get $20,000 in items in the end

You see these chefs work their butts off in the show and challenges. You'd think the easiest thing is getting the items that equal the $20,000 which is the ultimate prize, but because of pressure these chefs choke and end up getting around an average of $ 12,000-16,000.

I know whatever they can get in money works, but it's very rare I've seen somebody get $20,000
