The whole Monster High franchise has the depth of a duck pond but at the same time the message of tolerance and fairness is engaging. And sometimes my daughter needs a break from the books to indulge in something girly and cutesy. So I find this harmless fun.

No TV and no beer make Homer something--something!!

I'm 16 and pretty much obsessed with the franchise. Like you say, there's not much depth, but MH definitely has something Barbie and other bra ands don't. More diversity, perhaps?
