I would have liked a second series

I would have liked a second series but one that had less annoying character behaviour if you know what I mean.

On the whole I liked the first series but I did not think it was perfect.

I would've liked a second series too. "The Game" wasn't bad at all, whether "perfect" or not. What ever is "perfect" anyway?

It had an interesting premise, with room for development of the characters. And I always personally like relatively cerebral spy tales. I feel sorry for Toby Whithouse, too, given the BBC threw away the gem they had with his previous "Being Human" as well.

It's a shame, especially as the BBC cut what was a decent series in this case, that clearly wasn't a terribly expensive production either, in favour of the likes of the current awful "Partners In Crime" instead. That's been undoubtedly expensive, and in more ways than one. And one is left more than a little open mouthed at the decision making process that allowed limited resources to be wasted on what is patently no more than a vanity project for an appallingly miscast David Walliams. What were they thinking? With the money spend on that, which doesn't even have the cultural significance of the likes of "Life In Squares", they could have funded the second series of the much more deserving "The Game" and something else as well (if not more than one other thing). Shame!

I expect a lot more people will watch PARTNERS IN CRIME than THE GAME.
Of course THE GAME was a better programme.

I hate WALLIAMS but I am watching PARTNERS it is light drama.
The BBC has to be all things to all people,I hate GOLF,CRICKET,GARDENING,COOKERY and PROPERTY shows but lots of people like them.

I liked THE GAME but thinking about it it is not as clever as it thinks it is

The idea that a SPECIAL BRANCH cop does not know much about MI5 is just silly.
