I expected Hybrid Molly to do something telekinetic.
I think that in the flashback, the line of Aris said to Molly, something like "you're much more" after breaking that mirror, and Molly getting violently hugged by the other Molly was meant to be some kind of symbolism for embracing the other side of herself, in this case embodied by a Humanich, but was a placeholder for Alien Molly, to let Human Molly accept her being more than just human.
Thats all i could take from it, because, why would she decide to let her eyes glow at this moment, she was not going to break any mirrors or panels or use any telekinesis, all she did was pulling her cord out, maybe that needed superhuman strength, since the only other one we saw doing this was Ethan, that would be the only logical explanation i guess.
But this still doesnt explain why Humanich Molly decided to go for a hug in the first place.. logic made space for symbolism at these moments i guess.
