when she saw the video of Molly X in her clothes, why didn't she change?
shareIf that had happened the JD who do I shoot scene would not of happened, then the writers would have had to come up with a more creative 2 minute scene.
shareeven though im not defending the writing of the "who do i shoot" scene, which had its own complications (making her eyes glow, taking over JD, either would have helped a lot).
Molly changing her clothes would actually not solve a lot, because Lucy showed in an earlier episode that she could 3D print Julie's white dress within a few minutes, the Humanichs could quickly print out Molly's latest outfit when they arrived at the headquarters, using security footage of Molly as a reference or something like that.
But she should still have changed her clothes at home of course (getting rid of the high heels, putting something sturdy on instead of the flimsy shirts and the thin and tight pants for starters), which time-bomb pointed out, would otherwise prevented the "who do i shoot" scene, but given the existence of the 3D printer, it would have actually given the scene more edge, because JD would not have expected another set of clothes to be replicated.
But still.. very bad writing.
Absolutely. And how did Molly X know what Molly Prime was wearing, down to the jacket? Even if TAALR's all seeing eye was able to scope out MP to see what she was wearing, wouldn't he therefore know where she was at all times and just guide the humanich soldiers right to her?
