You can't fake the eyes!!!

Holy shît. Not only did Molly NOT use the most obvious giveaway ( her glowing eyes ) but they stupidly write in a line that its her human eyes that he recognized. Wow, just Wow.

reply

Yeah. But they wanted to go with the emotion. If her eyes glowed you'd lose the poetry of seeing "the window to her soul."

reply

I'm pretty sure there's nothing in there.

reply

Here's a bright idea.. If you KNOW that there's an impostor running around as you, change your fricking clothing or come up with a secret word that only you and your friends will know.

Agree 100%...biggest mistake

reply

I love that idea, a secret word. If Molly would of yelled out, "Snake Bit" I would of die laughing.

reply

Well they were only fighting robots that are so stupid that when they realize that they are under attack they walk out and pick up the little ied robots that are attacking them.

WE GOT MOVIE SIIIIIGN!

reply

not only that, if i was hybrid Molly, i wouldve at least let my eyes glow to let him know, or.... use my frickin ability to control humans!
I'd use JD by taking him over, to shoot the other Molly.

That line about the eyes.. didnt the writers realize that the eyes are also the giveaway with the glowing, and speaking of glowing, why shouldnt she have used the glowing eye mind control ability, it shouldve prompted them to rewrite the scene, but nope...

reply

Agreed, that whole scene was beyond stupid. Especially given she can control humans why wait the *beep* around when she could just control JD to shoot the robot...

There's a reason why Taalar is doing as well as he is, it's because the people against him are stupid.

reply

Or she could have used her telepathic powers to either tell JD which one was her, or control his mind and force him to shoot the humanich imposter.

reply

I was thinking it was going to be the band aid on her arm that would let him know. But no such thing, they had their jackets covering it/

reply

Funny that in the scene before (when JD got shot) the yes weren't obvious since JD believed it was her.

reply

Haha, good point, although i guess it helped him after getting shot and learning about a duplicate, plus having the luxury to compare the two during the final fight.

But it still is a very weak plot nevertheless, going for emotion at this moment was a very poor decision from the writers.
If the writers wanted emotion AND sense, they could have made Molly pry JD's mind and show him a flashback from their lovemaking sesh and then used him to shoot Manich Molly.
