The character of Anna Schaefer, played by Hilarie Burton, seemed quite important... and then I noticed she wasn't featuring any longer in the final few episodes of Season 2.
What did I miss?

I was actually wondering the same thing as I was watching the finale. Wasn't sure if she was killed and I just forgot?
shareCharacter plots dangling and story sub-arcs abandoned... Oh no!
At least it's not as in-your-face bad as Falling Skies, with their unexplained vanishing cast members and scenarios.
