Why Ethan is not a human being - and never will be

*Possible spoilers ahead for those who haven't seen season 1 of EXTANT*

In the following text I want to give a few reasons why Ethan is not a human being - and never will be. I'm referring to information about Ethan given by the various characters of the show. I also add arguments referring to Ethan's not-being-human that became relevant only after his external electric shut-off at the end of episode 4. My stand of knowledge is that of the first season only.

He didn't make any natural experiences before his first awakening, let alone prenatal ones.

He can switch himself off, e. g. when being in fear.

His skin is supposed to tear in straight lines only (even though it doesn't do so when he is attacked by two older kids in a playground).

His "father" John wasn't able to program him to dream (though he does so later on in the show).

He learns Japanese and riding the bike both on his own.

He is immune to the psychic abilities of the offspring.

He doesn't have a human body temperature (though he can activate it upon request).

He survives his own explosion at the end of season one.

And one question regarding the same topic: Is Ethan able to forget?!

Who ever said he was human? Or why did you make this post? ...just intrigued by the effort you put into compiling the list.
