the worst aspect of this show-spoilers

just finished season 2, barely. Glad its over, lots of bad things to say ( a few good things) but the worst part of the writing was to try to make the hybrids sympathetic. They designated several episodes to make them look like serious threads to humanity. They can read minds, they can thought control people and their leader openly expresses his desire for dominance by any violent means necessary. Then they just shrug that aside and try to make them sympathetic. In one of the last eps Hally says "oh that's just their leader, he's angry, some people are angry, its good that some of them are different than each other just like humans are"

Give me a break, really?

And the final scene she gives a press conference to announce to the world that aliens live among us and people break out in applause. Applause? Seriously?
