Almost at end of S1, should I give S2 a go?

Now that Extant has been cancelled, I was wondering if it's even worth finishing it. I have 3 episodes left to finish S1 and I must say, I find it somewhat interesting but not gripping, which is why I'm asking whether I should watch S2. Is S2 finale open ended? Will it leave me with many questions? Am I better off just quitting now or perhaps just finish S1? Any input is appreciated. Thank you!

I would say, give it a go. It didn't grip me as much as S1, but it does wrap up the show nicely.

no, season 2 is way worse than season 1 way worse

the new actors they bring in are all very unlikeable, one is really forced in to give her a love interest and he really doesnt fit into the story and he is annoying as hell. The new humanic is one of the single most annoying characters I have seen in ages, so is the hybrid leader

it gets pretty farsical and the ending is ridiculous

dont bother
