what happened after s01 e06?? (spoiler free)

so i decided to give this series a chance despite the low rating and after watching the first couple of episodes i was scratching my head, how could this have such a low rating? it was great! but all that changed after s01e06. WHAT HAPPENED??? its like they fired the director and writers and replaced them with bargain bin finds! i'm currently at s01e10 and there is no sign of improvement, should i keep watching? does it get better?
