The first one was awful and the second one probably is but you can't help but watch if your a child of the 90's because this was all over cable back in the day

But at least the first one had some incredible nudity and softcore seduction/sex scenes. Even if it weren't Alyssa and Charlotte they were blazing hot; that it was them made it 100x better.

This new one appears to have left most of the sex out of their vampire sex movie.

Actually, there are two versions of this movie; one I saw on cable, no less, which had no nudity. The second version I saw on streaming video and it had several sex/nude scenes including a three minute lesbian scene between Sharon Hinnendael and Chelsey Reist.

I suspect that after the film was in the can someone (distributor?) got cold feet and decided to cut the nudity.

I just get a little peeved that I'm paying for cable and end up with some show that could have been shown on regular TV.

What a crap ending.
I fast forwarded thru the credits hoping for something additional.
I like the 1st one, but I also have a thing for Alyssa Milano :)
Was this an actual attempt at a remake or did they just reuse a title?
They called the new Fright Night 2 a sequel to the 1st one, but it was a completely new movie that had nothing to do with the 1st one. Except for the character names.
Maybe similar thing here?

While I didn't hate the movie, I thought the ending was terrible as there's no real resolution. Is she alive or dead? What about her boyfriend and roommate? A lot of unresolved issues. The original wasn't great either but I thought the ending was much better.

Yea.. Sorry the original was awful but at least had three draw of Milano. This remake doesn't even have that novelty.

Yeah, I'm not sure what they were thinking here. There's not much of a story, not many scares, not much sex, not much humour...it's just kind of a movie about nothing with some incidental subplot about vampires that pops up briefly a couple times. Though I thought the main girl did a decent job for what she had to work with, and Keegan Connor Tracy was good.

The original movie was AWFUL. The new one is so much better. I loved it. It's really amusing reading everyone else's posts on why they didn't like it. Doesn't anyone have a normal opinion about the movie itself and not just which movie had better sex scenes?

I wish I could give this -100, but sadly it can only go as low as '1.' *beep* everybody involved in production, they should never work again in the industry... work at McDonald's... *beep* *beep*
