Great 3D

Just in case anybody up for it the 3D of this movie great. I was pleasantly surprised about the animation quality too. The story drags a little in the middle but it was ok.

If you like 3D effects this is a go.

Nice one mate. Was really wanting to find out what the 3d was like on this as director Ben Stasson is a wizard with 3d!!

This is great to hear. nWave release great 3D movies. While Sammy's adventures wasn't a great movie, its 3D was incredible; something Disney and DreamWorks, should learn from. Any word on a US theatrical release or Blu-ray release?

When i usually go to see Hollywood movies in 3D. I mostly leave disappointed in the 3D. Even tho Pacific Rim is pretty awesome in 3d. But This is really eyeopening.

because most of the Hollywood movies "after 2009" are FAKE 3Ds.
They are converting to 3D in the post-production
They are not using 3D rigs.

but almost all animations are REAL 3D, since it is easy to make second angle scenes and render. Most of the Horror flicks are also real 3D. Most of the DC/Marvel Comic or other big budget movies are Fake though.

Good Hollywood 3D examples (with real 3D cameras) are: Avatar, Hobbit, The Great Gatsby, Oz, Drive Angry, Final Destination 4-5, Saw3D, Legend of the Guardians (still the best), Kung Fu Panda, IMAX documentaries, Underwater docs (seeing ocean and sea in 3D is a unique experience since most of us never dive :) )

Non-Hollywood Great 3D examples: T.S. Spivet, Cirque du Soleil, Pina, Turtle Sammy (all of Ben Stassen films), and all of the China 3Dfilms (they are amazing in 3D and cinematography ex: IceMan, Dedective Dee, Mr. Go, Flying Swords, Lunar Kingdom, Four 2-3)
