So... Cassie can't kill herself right now?

I mean, that would end the show of course, so she is not gonna do it (or an abortion). But the solution to all the problems seems so simple...

If main characters didn't do stupid things there would be no movie plots.

The latest interview suggests that Cassie might consider the possibility of raising the child to NOT become the Witness...

I thought the current Cassie wasn't pregnant any more. As in, she has already given birth to the Witness.

It was MY understanding, she IS pregnant with the baby she and Cole conceived in 1959; that baby is not born yet. That baby's very existence is an anomaly because he moment of his conception has been erased from the timeline.. and yet, he still exists.

True, but keep in mind that stupid and/or nonsensical actions taken by characters speaks volumes about deep weaknesses in the writers' room.

Wait.. I thought she has already conceived the baby. Right now, I think Cassie (the Cassie we saw in the future) isn't pregnant

Seems like it'd be hard for her to pull that off, being the prisoner of a thousand robed zealots watching her every move.

Presumably since the witness exists outside of time even killing herself wouldn't help. Don't forget he was never even conceived in this timeline yet he exists. Cassie never gave birth yet he's alive. He's a timeline orphan so to speak and can't be affected by events within the timeline

No. I highly doubt Cassie will kill herself nor will her or Cole go back in time and try and kill the Witness when he is a baby and the solution will most likely be Cole trying to get through to his son by talking to him like Han Solo tried to do with his son in Star Wars: The Force Awakens but with a different outcome that involves Cassie.

12 Monkeys will have a happy ending.
