Lets hope it's better than season 2.

Season2 is top-notch.

If you and others can't follow it it's your loss.

reply

Implying that people don't like season 2 merely because they're unable to comprehend what's happening.

reply

Imply? If they dislike Season 2 then they aren't keeping up. Simple enough.

reply

Right, you keep thinking that. Actually, if you think this show is so clever and complex, then you're probably the stupid one here.

reply

Don't start fighting guys. These are all opinions and nothing more. In my opinion, season 2 has been the best one. Every episode has been great. But of course, I hope season 3 is even better. Now we wait for the finale and I bet it will leave us wanting more.

reply

I agree. Try to remember you are adults. There are too many petty fights on these boards over little things and they don't benefit anybody and might upset some of the younger members who are reading these forums.

Your weak effort at excusing your own obvious ignorance has failed. Try again.

reply

Okay, bud. Thanks for the five months late reply. I was oh so dying to continue squabbling over this. ๎€ฒ๎€›๎€ฒ

reply

Nah it's not very good. Sorry..... waiting for the aliens and zombies. This show has jumped the red forest shark since the start of season 2.

reply

Agreed. It was great!

reply

I COULDN'T AGREE MORE Aredo3604gif!

I've been waiting so impatiently for this to come back & then was afraid they weren't going to bring it back! I WAS SO HAPPY TO HEAR THE NEWS THAT NOW I'M HAVING A FIT FOR THE SERIES TO BEGIN ALREADY!

Season two have been great. Better than the first.

reply

Really great to see, especially after I just saw the weekly ratings, which aren't that great. Maybe Syfy has finally learned their lesson.

reply

Season 2 is amazing. If you don't understand why, then you don't know Great TV. Go watch wrestling or something. I hear it's easy to follow.

Are you an SJW ? If so, please kill yourself immediately! Thanks

reply

I love how some people think someone doesn't like a show cause they can't follow it. It's garbage almost like every show. Forced romances, unbelievable bad ass leads and co-stars who turn into bad assses in another timeline. CDC employees who turn into a bad ass. The indestructible Tall Man from Phantasm, I could go on but alas it's late...... The two leads have no chemistry in this season as opposed to the first. They took a pretty good show in it's early inception to this garbage. But hey you can follow it so it must be good. Lol.

reply

Better? What's wrong with this season? It's been great so far. I've watched 5 episodes. My only fear is that they are making the story more complex, and if they do decide to cancel the show at some point, they might not be able to address everything

A good death is its own reward

reply

I didn't like season 2 at all, it was very disjointed. And a little boring at times. Season 1 was awesome, hoping season 3 will pick it up a notch!

reply

I'm so glad that it's been renewed! It's one of my favorite shows.๎€น

reply

Since season 3 will only contain 10 episodes, does it mean it will be the last season?

reply

I figure three seasons are enough anyway.

reply

It's a good guess.

12 Monkeys lost 50% of its audience for season 2, and the ratings weren't great to begin with.

It'd be interesting to know how well 12 Monkeys does on streaming services, it's really the only financial incentive to renew the show (streaming services require that serialized TV shows have a conclusion to their story).

I'm watching it on HBO Nordic, are any of you guys straming it?

All the ratings are fake.
Studios managers tamper with the ratings. Never trust any ratings. It is just a big Hollywood lie and a silly pathetic joke.
Studios are large multinational groups and all their products both movies and tv shows make money worldwide and not just in the US.

Prove it.

I agree. This is yet another reason I don't subscribe to the ideas of critics who review movies and such. More often than not, they don't know a great storyline when it jumps up & bites them in the asterisk! Most of what critics claim as bad, is either really great or high on the scale of watchable as well as entertaining even if it's not some intellectual great, bomb-flashings every 3-seconds, or has an all-star cast of characters but rather a cast of nobodies who do an excellent job! Sadly, 12 Monkeys is a lot like that; all anybody has to do is listen to the snipers here! TV shows & movies CAN AND ARE GREAT WITHOUT THE NEED FOR MINDLESS PLOTLESS MOVEMENT! Some actually require a person to use that gray squishy matter that sits inside your skull! Another important thing about 12 Monkeys that might help the haters or at least the whiners is a few refresher courses in history! Anybody with a half-decent memory of historic events, fashion styles, the mindset of people from specific eras (whether they are spot-on or total BS) then 12 Monkeys is even easier to follow. If you have this understanding, you won't need to know where the characters are being sent or where they land b/c the show does more than a decent job of staying true to specific periods.

It is no wonder that people from other countries have the opinion of Americans that they do. So few can actually sit through a film or TV show that requires a person to think for themselves & draw their own conclusions rather than having the movements & plot spoonfed to them. I find this so sad. Many, far too many, miss out on some really intense psychological thrillers & dramatical works of art all b/c these people don't have the ability to decipher information, pay attention without explosions & crazy car chases every 3 seconds, along with having everything spoonfed to them. Personally, I'd like to blame poor education but if that were the case, there would be fewer senior citizens tuning in who love these types of shows despite the fact that many didn't get beyond 4th to 5th grade b/c they had to work on family farms or they joined the military during WWI, WWII, & Korea yet they can keep up not to mention give an earful when watching slower-moving films & TV shows that require a person to actually pay attention to what is happening. I don't know. Perhaps it's dumbed down education at it's worst in specific areas of the States that is the cause or the fact too many over the past 30yrs or so refuse to take time to read actual books, especially classical literature & poetry that a person must be capable of comprehending before they are able to understand it. Who knows...

All I can say with absolute certainty is that I will not blow off a film or TV show all because some critic says it's crap. I prefer to find out for myself.

If anyone reading this is wondering if it's something worthy of watching, all you have to do is ask yourself if you can sit through a TV show week after week without constant nonstop explosions, no cinema Hollywood greats but definitely some interesting as well as talented actors, and have at least some idea of historic time periods over the half-century or so, then give it a try regardless of what the mindless dweeb haters say. Personally, I think you will find yourself pleasantly surprised, albeit ready to binge watch because there are lots of cliffhangers perfectly placed as well as leaving a great deal of the show up for interpretation.

Unfortunately it seems so.
They gave the producers another 10 episodes to wrap everything up and write a series finale.

reply

Hellz yea! Thank you. That's the best news I've heard all day.

reply

I'm glad to hear it.

The night beckons, like a finger curling and uncurling as if to say "Hey, come here."

reply

Yeah!!!! It's happening biiiii-uuurrrp-iiiitch!

This is one of the only sci-fi shows worth watching right now. It's not perfect, but it's good enough.

reply

Yeeezzzzirrrr

reply

it will really suck if Season 3 is the last season... sigh. just as i was beginning to get into the show. there's still a lot more stories & situations to explore. meanwhile, stupid sh++ reality programs are still going. i really don't understand. shows like this and "The Man in the High Tower" deserve better.

reply

I wonder why season 3 will have only 10 instead of 13 episodes. I uave found year 2 to be a bit dull.

reply

The Man In The High Castle is getting another season, right? Has there been any indication it's going to be the last?

reply

The last of what, 12 Monkeys or Man in the High Castle? 12 Monkeys, while it could go on for quite a while thanks to the use of time travel as a way to alter timelines constantly, it's ratings have been low. But if you look at some of the imdb ratings of episodes, people seem to generally like the second season...syfy, I think, is one of the networks that is now getting over the whole neilsen BS because it means absolutely nothing these days, shows like 12 Monkeys, Dark Matter, Killjoys all are subpar performers in the daily neilsen ratings, but in general are enjoyed by the fans.

Asa for Man in the High Castle...I love that show and being a streaming show that is both critically and fan praised I can't imagine season 2 being its end unless they really screw something up.

reply

You can at least take comfort in the fact that reality programming is in steady decline due to the fact that streaming services aren't interested in purchasing them (reality shows have little repeat interest..).

With the ratings 12 Monkeys has had, I think wer're lucky to get a third season.

reply

Uh...I think you meant High Castle?

reply

That makes me very happy. I enjoy this show. It might be a bit too cerebral for the naysayers.

reply

There is is nothing cerebral about a television show. Any television show. Life is cerebral. Television shows are fictitious, but I'm sure you know that already.

reply

.....me thinks thou doth protest too much Mr.scaringi95.

reply

I kinda think you don't understand the word "cerebral"
def, I quote a dictionary here - "Of or relating to the brain"
So that being said a fictitious tv show would have to be highly cerebral, as it involves a very large amount of using the brain to create plots, twists back stories etc.

reply

I'm happy this time travel adventure is continuing.

What's fun is that people who died in the show can "come back" from the dead due to time travel so they can keep surprising us.

This show definitely needs more love.
