I missed the ending....what happen? - Indiscretion (2016) Discussion

*SPOILER*******

Victor ended up shooting & killing the husband & the daughter ended up shooting Victor. Victor ended up in prison. Veronica became Senator & went to visit Victor in prison. He claimed that she had planned it all from the beginning...that the affair was planned & she picked him because she knew she could manipulate him into killing her husband. She denied it & tells Victor that the affair was all in his head & the movie pretty much ended there with it being implied that she never admitted to an affair publicly. She claimed he was just a stalker obsessed w/the family. The film left it open as to whether he was just crazy or she was a master manipulator.

I think she was behind the whole thing, and I think Victor was right that she only tried to save her husband when she found out Victor was with her daughter. I think Victor was right, she targeted him.

I think so, but its one of those movies were the ending is open to interpretation.

But if she wanted Victor to kill her husband, why did she freak out when she saw Victor in the car when they left for the trip? And then she called him frantically to warn him, and then even followed them to find them to stop Victor and save her husband. I don't see how any of that points to her wanting Victor to kill him.

Yes it wouldn't make sense that she wanted him dead. She clearly wanted nothing to do with Victor after her fling and wanted to stay married.
I can see why people aren't sure from the ending but some of her actions wouldn't make sense if that's what was going on. But maybe it's just bad writing.

I don't think so, Victor was a psycho and was trying to turn it around at the end in prison.

I think her actions were suspicious once her colleague warned her to never interact with him again....and she continued to go to his studio to confront him. She knew he was dangerous from a professional & personal point of view. I think she got involved in the hunting portion because of her daughter. But she used the entire situation to her political advantage once it was over.
