Anyone know why Patrick Monroe is barely mentioned in media

I have read numerous media pieces about this short film and they mention BC and SunnyMarch (some include the names of all the producers, not just BC) but a few do not even mention the writer/director Patrick Monroe at all which is curious on a number of levels.

I also read that when the new, longer trailer was released not long ago, he tweeted that he hadn't been told about it - again, odd.

Anyone know if there is a reason for this or is it just the results of amateurish handling on their part? BC had mentioned in quite a few interviews that he was doing this film because of Monroe and now, he's barely a whisper. I am a bit disappointed about that.

I thought I read a couple of months ago that Patrick was working on another project for a while. Sorry, I can't remember details or the source; I suspect it was a few tweets. It's possible things on "Little Favour" moved forward while he was occupied elsewhere. I haven't worked in film but if it's anything like theatre (in which I have worked) things can move forward very quickly after long periods of apparent dormancy. I really wouldn't read too much into it.

Monroe has tweeted in the last twenty-four hours about the film and his own delight that Benedict is on the cover of TIME magazine. I don't get the sense of any disharmony.

Yes, I did see the recent tweets from him but had noticed the earlier tweet awhile back from him where he was surprised that the new trailer had been released; he had not been included on tweets about it from Ackland, et al. And, in quite a few media pieces, he isn't mentioned at all - in any way which has nothing to do with his scheduling - so, just wondered.

Hopefully, he will be included in everything going forward. It was pretty striking to me that he was not included in those pieces.

Because he's actually a Fight Director - in fact, if you look him up he's had several different careers in film - actor, sound recordist, pa. He's definitely not a writer or a director on the evidence of this!
