Was Aspinall (i.e., Lord Apes-in-Hall) that big of a scumbag IRL?

I was just coming here to ask the same thing (scumbag is the exact word I would have used). I've got around an hour left to watch; I don't know how much more of his elitist, entitled, superiority clap-trap I can stomach.

Being eaten by a tiger is too good for him. He needs one of his gorillas to teach him a lesson about male dominance.

I admired him for his conservation work. Didn't know him of course.
