I wonder....

Curious to know how much artistic licence will used within this programme!!! Most of Lord Lucan's story is based oh here say and assumptions. It is widely believed that he did do it but there are some who believe he was framed. I wonder what theory they will use??

I'd like to know why Botswana's Tuli Block has never been raked over by the police ONCE in the 39 years since Sandra Rivett was murdered! That's where Lucan fled to...had he legged it anywhere else he'd have been found and dragged back in handcuffs long ago! He was a very clever man...clever enough to make sure he had friends in VERY high places!
'Chums' with that kind of power and influence could make St Pauls Cathedral disappear, making an Earl vanish would take a couple of phone calls, a light aircraft, a quiet private airstrip..and a few hours at most. All of the above were available to 'Lucky.'...and he knew it. By the time the Ford Corsair was dumped on the south coast by a pal, he was already away on his toes across the channel.
Will he ever be found and brought to trial? Anything is possible if he's still alive (he'd be 81 or so by now)...personally i don't think it'll ever be solved. The real tragedy is Ms Rivett, who is forgotten while the world speculates on the fate of Lucan. She deserves better!

If he is indeed still alive, then I'd expect we will hear about it once he is dead.

So if we don't hear anything in the next 10 years or so I'd suspect he did commit suicide at the time, or he is in very good health.

Anyhow, seeing as no one would know what he might look like now, he could well be living back in the UK anyway.

I don't know much about the case but if he was half the scumbag as he's portrayed in the program I hope he's rotting on the bottom of the North Sea.

ITA! What a pig! So were the rest of his circle. Loved how they all closed ranks and took his side against his wife.
