Premature Freakout
This movie wasn't realistic at all. People aren't going to be completely out of resources after a day or two. I've seen other movies like this where the timeline was more realistic.

shareWhen the Sheriff holds the meeting to talk about rationing, he states that it has been five days. So, not so premature in my opinion. At the point, unless you have a generator, you've lost everything perishable. Deliveries haven't been made and there is no word on when they will start again.
But those kids overreacted, breaking into houses and taking everything they could carry!
No food for 5 days???? Auntie Em!!!!! Auntie Em!!!!!
shareI agree completely. In 2003 the entire Northeastern part of the country had a total blackout, I lived in Michigan at the time and while some people got their power back 2 days later the majority of us went without power for 5 to 7 days... My family, friend's and everybody else that I knew had plenty of food to get us by for those 7 days and there was absolutely no rioting or looting.
sharethe stats say that the average American only has 3 days of extra food stored away.
So no..it's not that unrealistic at all.
I can go with out eating for a week with no problem
The most important thing is sincerity. If you can fake that you've got it made.
I want to win the Nobel Peace Prize so bad that I would kill for it
If boxing is a manly sport why do they fight for a purse?
