How the hell did the old woman and her daughter come back to life?
WHY did they come back to life? To find another person the old woman can confide in so the daughter can kill them? I DON'T GET IT!

It was all part of the writers story, I guess. In fact there was no real murder or ghosts involved and what we saw was a fictitious perspective of himself writing a script in an old house.

Don't worry, the ending left me perplexed at first, too. Maybe it's because this movie was kinda dull.
