Oh horrors, it wasn't realistic

Well no sh__t!

If I quit watching everything on tv that wasn't realistic I would be stuck watching a blank screen. Cops on cop shows don't act like cops, court rooms in real life are incredibly BORING, as an ex soldier, shows about the military sometimes make me cringe, but I ignore the errors, and I'm certain firefighting wouldn't make a great drama either. If you want realism perhaps reality tv suits you better? Probably not, since it isn't real either.

The guy who wrote the review who takes such offense at the fact that firefighting isn't really like that needs to grow up or just quit watching tv and stick to watching people in the local mall.

No one say's it has to 100% realistic but still people may like to get the minior details right.. Like you in the Army, If you saw something on film that you knew wouldn't happen in real life you would noticed it.. Some with the fire brigade, People in the service or in the know the mistake will be very obvious

As both a firefighter and an ex-squaddie, I don't mid a bit of dramatic licence, but this programme is to real-life firefighting what Commando comics are to real warfare, but without the fun.

The programme's real crime, though, is degenerating into predictable soap-opera bed-hopping tripe before we even got halfway through the first series.
