The ending could have been better

I didn't quite like the ending of Finding Fanny. It could have been much better had Savio and Angie got married to each other instead of Ferdie and Rosie, and I didn't quite like what happened to Don Pedro. I mean, this movie could have been much better if Don Pedro wasn't accidentally killed in the scuffle between Savio and Rosie over a gun. This is such a great loophole in the film with the remaining characters: Savio, Ferdie, Rosie and Angie not knowing what actually happened to Don Pedro and making false assumptions about him.
