Is This About Guys at the Club Hunting for Women?

Not exactly. Ferdie embarks on a journey to find his childhood sweetheart, Fanny, with his friends Angie, Rosie, Savio, etc. When the group finally finds Fanny, Angie falls head over heels in love with her. Thus begins Angie's journey of sexual awakening and self-discovery. In time, Angie expresses her love to Fanny, who surprisingly reciprocates. The duo embark on a beautifully portrayed inter-generational Sapphic romance with a desi twist, the kind Hollywood cannot come close to matching.

Everything seems to be going well for Angie & Fanny (or "Fangie" as they're called by the movie's fans): their friends are supportive, family members & neighbors who weren't welcoming initially come around later on (like Angie's Swedish neighbor or Fanny's uber-conservative daughter from a previous marriage, who tragically dies after a botched secret abortion later on), Savio moves out of Angie's home after recovering from his drug addiction and thus Fangie decide to finally move in together at Angie's house in Goa (they were in a long distance relationship in the meantime).

But unfortunately, the couple's happiness is cut short when the jealous Ferdie, furious that Fanny had rejected him for Angie, shoots her (Fanny) multiple times while she was in the process of moving her furniture into Angie's house. The scene where Angie is holding Fanny in her arms as the latter is dying is one of the strongest scenes in the movie. Fanny tells Angie that the brief time they shared together was the best moments of her life, how she never thought she would find love at such an advanced age and how thankful she was to fate for bringing them together. She forgives Ferdie as it was through him that Angie & Fanny met. Fanny then finally tells Angie that she must go on living without her. In the final scene we see a slightly older Angie walking with her head held high in a busy market where she notices a woman many years her senior checking her out. She warmly smiles at her, implying that Angie has finally found another 'Fanny' whom she will spend the rest of her life with.

The tile of the film not only references the search for Fanny the octogenarian sweetheart but also references, in an admittedly crass way, Angie's realisation of her lesbian desires and her quest to find the one.

You totally missed it. fanny is a British slang meaning vagina, similar to 'pussy.' So now you know what Finding Fanny will translate into,to British especially the Scottish people at first -a bunch of guys looking for girls for casual sex i.e. precisely the title of this post.
